Feedback Loop

Description:
  •
Improvements:
  • Expression pedal jack (easy to do, plenty of space)
  • Momentary switch
Issues
  • Loop jacks sometimes contact enclosure, grounding the signal - SORT OF SOLVED - Put electrical tape inside the enclosure and on the back of the jack tabs.
Question:
  • Why do some pedals refuse to feedback? Or is it just that the frequency is too high to hear? Like my cat electra. Oscilloscope picked up high pitch resonance.
  • What's the deal with some pedals oscillating at a certain frequency? Why is this affected by volume/tone/guitar pickup selected
  • Why is there still feedback sometimes when the feedback knob is all the way down? Well I guess there is a max resistance the pot offers. Any way to make it open circuit? Mod the pot? Or possibly just need a larger pot? Would this have any other effects?
