  • You can access the course Prezi here

Wednesday, February 24

Good luck with the rest of the course everybody!  You will be missed.
You may pick up your physics journals any time

Tuesday, February 23

1.3 Projectile Motion Day 3
  • Complete Pg 43 #1-3, 5
Here is the Vernier Video Physics analysis of the bouncy ball problem we have been studying.  The first video is the video by itself and the second video includes the Video Physics analysis.

Monday, February 22

 1.3 Projectile Motion Day 2
Homework:
  • correct quiz
  • complete projectile motion problems (problems on worksheet as well as textbook problems assigned)
  • bouncy ball problem from today (0.5m/s initial horizontal velocity dropped from 1.0m)
answer: horizontal distance before first bounce = 0.23m
horizontal distance between first and second                                                   bounce = 0.29 m (assuming the horizontal velocity                                        decreases as well as the vertical velocity)

1.1-1.2 Quiz Answers:
1a) 0.98m/s^2  b) 14.0 m/s (50 km/h) <- it's not realistic to run that fast!!
2. 679m [W77˚N]

Thursday, February 18
