•the massive flying bird is the mightiest bird of all and him who can conquer it will receive a great deal if respect.  Just like the aboriginals
•in terms of rituals they feel that there is a strong bond between nature and humans or navi
•both believe in spirits of animals
•the elder or leader is wearing a headress
•they use bow n arrows like natives
•They are both very in touch with nature
•both believe in spirits
•a symbol or vision that one has a strong heart  therefor has a high importance especially when those glowing things surround him
•both wear very little clothing...
•a connection is before she put the animal to rest she said a prayer or blessing of some sort
•the Na'vi and the First Nations  were both taught English
•both get invaded by the "white man"
