Why are you running?
I'm running because I can bring a new voice and perspective to the TSU Executive. Check out the poster above! That's what I'm about.
I have been fighting for teachers and students since I started teaching 12 years ago. In that time, while I've worked along side so many of you, our jobs have become much more challenging: from increased class sizes to cuts to mental health supports for both teachers and students. So much has changed. That's why we need a union exec that understands what teaching in a classroom in 2025 is really like. I can support TSU Exec by providing these perspectives, and making sure the daily struggles of teachers are truly heard and acted on.

What makes you qualified?
As Chair of the Political Advisory and Labour Liaison Committee, member of the Human Rights Committee, member of the Diversity and Equity Committee, as well as the School Representative for Monsignor Percy Johnson, I have demonstrated that I have the experience and skills that can enhance and diversify the support that TSU provides to its members. My tech skills and organization will help support TSU Exec and bring our union into the 21st Century.

How do I vote?
It's super easy and quick! If you are a TSU member (including if you are an occasional teacher, of course), you should receive an email to your personal email address on election day: May 28. This email will have your link to vote. If you have not set up your personal email with TSU, please contact the TSU office to do so!
Is 3rd VP a release position?
3rd VP is not a release position. That means I will still teach my classes in my school if I am elected into the position. This would allow me to provide TSU Exec with the important perspective of classroom teachers and the challenges they face daily. And no, it's not a paid position.
